Every picture I have in any way relating to my gazebo...

stringing out the area...

the post hole digger. leaks oil like a broken water main.

Me trying to operate the post hole digger

My there were a lot of those.

This is after the holes are dug and the cement poured. Haven't ripped off the footing forms yet.

Without the forms.

This is the first one I did, screwed up and made the rebar stick out the top.

Broke the sawsall blade cutting it off, but cut it off I did.

See?

Then I found out that one of the posts was really not wheer it should be, so I had to dig a hole next to it and move it over...

This is with all of the post anchors placed

The worst of the bunch.

More post anchors.

Lumber. I finally get to play with wood and power tools.

NVGN: Not Very Good Notches.

Grasshopper's techniques are improving...

My First Post!

My stakework.

Four posts up, and stable. Not perfectly plumb yet, but they're standing....

All eight posts up.

Framing the floor. You can't tell, but the posts are straight now. :-)

from the front.

zoom and enhance.

This didn't come out as good as it looks. They're not exactly all level.

The next day, I started on the middle supports

Looks like the death star to me for some reason.

You're supposed to bevel the posts here so they rest on more than just one point, but I didn't see the need. Trust me, I know what I'm doing. :-)

Five months later...
This is the lumber that's left.

Starting to look like something.

The roof, the roof, the roof is on, a little.

The roof frame is done.

That's my shed in the background, I did that too.

This was a very long day. But all the sheathing is up.

Most of the railings, and cleaned the floor...

There, just put on the cupola. Which is actually a wishing well that I cut down a bit. All it needs now is polyeurothane, but otherwise, all done.
